BaaS Project was presented in the International Symposium SEBUA 2012
BaaS project was presented as in the EC project Section in The International Symposium on Sustainable Energy in Buildings and Urban Areas, SEBUA-12, taking place in Kusadasi, Turkey - during 14 - 20 October, 2012.
Nowadays, it is acknowledged the great importance of energy consumption in buildings, which is estimated at about 40% of energy consumed at the national levels. The European Commission published three directives that impose actions for energy efficiency and clean energy in buildings and urban areas (EPBD 2010/31/EC, REN 2009/28/EC, and ESD 32/2006/EC), while worldwide green energy policies are adopted to protect the environment and ensure a sustainable energy approach for our entire planet.
2nd Periodic Meeting in Crete
On September 11th and 12th, all the partners of the BaaS project, funded by the European Commission through the 7th Framework Programme, met to have the 2nd Periodic meeting, organized by TUC and CARTIF and held by TUC on the KAM - Arsenali meeting room (Chania, Crete).
BaaS Project was presented in the 3rd Energy Efficiency Semantic Workshop at ECPPM 2012 Conference
The European Conference of Product and Process Modelling (ECPPM) is a biannual conference series dating back to 1994. ECPPM was the first BIM conference founded on the basis of European BIM research projects preceding IFC and BuildingSMART and has fostered BIM development over the last 18 years. The conference series has gained a recognized position as an important event in the international AEC/FM ICT research agenda. Although with European roots, the ECPPM attracts delegates and prominent speakers from all around the world providing delegates with valuable knowledge and discourse on latest state of the art in ICT research and development in the AEC/FM industry.
Kick-off Meeting in Valladolid
On May 30th and 31st, all the partners of the BaaS project, funded by the European Commission through the 7th Framework Programme, met to have the Kick-off meeting, organized and held by the coordinator partner CARTIF on its premises.
