BaaS participation in the ESA Symposium
BaaS project has been presented in the 1st Infrastructure Symposium organized by the Facility Management (FM) in the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) which belongs to the European Space Agency (ESA). During the Symposium all the delegations of the ESA were present, as well as NASA people. Besides that, external companies such as Kilner planning, Ixion Smart Automation, T4 sustainability or Cofely, among others, participated. The Symposium took place in the ESAC offices located in Villanueva de la Cañada, Madrid, Spain, during the days 29th and 30th of June 2015.
BaaS project was invited by the ESA to give a speech in the panel session dedicated to the topic "Can Infrastructure Control Systems Speak the Same Language?" together Ixion Smart Automation and T4 Sustainability. This panel session was celebrated during the second day of the Symposium where other technical aspects were treated such as sustainability and resiliency for space-related facilities, spatial launchers, test centres, data centres and IT infrastructures. First day was oriented in a more logistic point of view about management and economical issues.
