BaaS Project was presented in the SEMANCO workshop
BaaS project was represented in the SEMANCO workshop which was celebrated in Barcelona (Spain) during the days 11-12 of April of 2013. This workshop is related to the SEMANCO project that aims at CO2 reduction in the built environment through structuring energy data. There are a number of current issues in modelling, analysis and visualisation of energy related data within the built environment. The workshop brings together projects and professionals with similar aims to identify the cross-cutting issues and the synergies between workers that will help in addressing these.
4th Periodic Meeting in Madrid
On March 12th and 13th, all the partners of the BaaS project, funded by the European Commission through the 7th Framework Programme, met to have the 4th Periodic meeting, organized by Dalkia and CARTIF. The meeting took place in the HUSA Chamartín hotel which is one of the pilots of the project.
During the meeting, it was discussed several points. First of all, the work package (WP) advances since the previous meeting until the Madrid's meeting were highlighted. The aggreements, deliverables status and next steps were also included into the agenda for the discussion ahead the whole consortium. Moreover, the contributions of all the partners helped to achieve agreements with regard to opened challenges.
BaaS project was presented in the 2nd Vocamp
Members of the BaaS project were attending the 2nd Vocabulary Camp in Brussels, Belgium (21-22 February 2013). This event, organized in the context of the Adapt4EE European-funded project (FP7), was focused on eeBuildings Data Models, Building Information Modelling, and specially on enriching BIM models used during design phases for enhanced energy performance analysis and simulation.
3rd Periodic Meeting in Kassel
On December 11th and 12th, all the partners of the BaaS project, funded by the European Commission through the 7th Framework Programme, met to have the 3rd Periodic meeting, organized by Fraunhofer and CARTIF. The meeting took place in the building that Fraunhofer has in Kassel (Germany).
During the meeting, a work package (WP) overview regarding the work already done during the 8 months of the project, before the milestones 1 and 2, and the work to be done in the following months, after the milestone 2, was presented. During these presentations, many questions regarding technical tasks were discussed in order to achieve agreements in the development of the project. Also, a visit to the test-bed building (Fraunhofer) was organized, so as to see the status of the facilities.
